Inspired by the green of classic British Army uniforms, this jacket merges the iconic design of the classic Type II denim jacket with a modern, stylish fit and silhouette. Its appeal lies in the combination of a unique olive green denim, a timeless design, and a comfortable, contemporary fit. This blend not only captures a vintage military aesthetic but also adds a modern twist, making the jacket both classic and fashion-forward.

Made in Japan from 100% cotton, the jacket features a lightweight, 10.5oz non-stretch selvedge green denim with a left-hand twill construction. The fabric is woven with specially dyed green-coloured warp yarns and natural-coloured weft yarns, giving the denim a distinctive streaky slub appearance. Despite its textured look, the 10.5oz weight offers a comfortable, soft feel. Selvedge details can be seen along the interior placket. Additionally, as part of the finishing process, the jacket is pre-washed (also known as one-wash) to minimise shrinkage and give it a lived-in look, easy to wear from day 1. This jacket follows the design of the Type 2 model while incorporating unique details from Momotaro Jeans, including a front closure with five antique-finished metal buttons engraved with the Momotaro Jeans logo, front and back yokes, stitched-down double pleats on the front, a pointed fold-down collar, twin flap chest pockets with button closures, two side-entry hand pockets positioned at the waist, single-button cuffs with cuff slits, rear side pleats located below the back yoke, buttoned tabs at the back hem, and a black leather patch on the inside of the collar.

This item features a comfortable regular fit with a moderate amount of room around the chest, making it ideal for layering with lightweight items like T-shirts or heavier layers such as sweatshirts. Unlike vintage denim jackets with overly short lengths, this jacket has been refined for a more versatile silhouette.
